When we comment about others we are saying more about ourselves than them. Glad you brushed it off, Ling.

Delightful, as always. Gosh, what a pain to receive such a comment, but glad you were able to shake it off with a good walk. I also adore rosebay willowherb! So delicate.

Thanks Kate 😊 the beach here in Hoylake is contentious with locals since the council stopped spraying and raking back in 2019. The FB group can get nasty and I tend to stay away from it, but some pictures I posted of forget-me-nots and a comment about how much I prefer the beach now clearly got someone's goat, which I kind of knew it would when I posted it. I'm beyond staying with bland, anodyne comments when it comes to protecting the natural environment. I visited a local wildflower planting site this week too, and it was beautiful - but there were hardly any insects. We're running out of time.

Ah I see—of course. The classic 'now it looks messy' attitude. You never know who is reading your lovely comments sharing those forget-me-nots and silently agreeing with you! It shouldn't be that some of us have to put up with an attitude that is resistant and nasty to the change we need, but if we can manage it, we never know who else it is inspiring and taking along with us! Keep going! 👏
